1. Synonym Results Oriented

Face the consequences. In profit or loss. In the findings. I just don’t see how a synonym can have a result. A synonym is a noun, and it has a meaning (which happens to be ‘a word that has the same meaning as another word’). How can that have a result? You might as well ask ‘ what is the result of a car?’.
