2021 Jumping Amsterdam cancelled!

It is with a feeling of great sadness that the organisation of Jumping Amsterdam had
to make the decision to cancel the 2021 event.

Due to the current corona related measures and the uncertainty that presently prevails in the Netherlands, it is considered irresponsible to proceed with the event, both in terms of health of all parties involved as well as financially.

About Jumping Amsterdam 2020

Results Jumping Amsterdam 2019

The edition of 2020 has outstripped itself! With fantastic sport, an event hall of 4.000m² full of exhibitors, great food and drinks and entertainment there was more to see and enjoy at the RAI. And by increasing the capacity of the public stand, more visitors were welcomed to the RAI. This only contributed to the good atmosphere that Jumping is known for!

Results Jumping Amsterdam Live

Jumping Amsterdam represents sport, entertainment and Amsterdam. These three anchors are the success formula that Jumping is. From 23th until the 26th of January 2020, the world’s best riders came to Amsterdam to compete in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ and the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™. They love to visit the Dutch capital, especially for its great spectators.

We present more than 70 pre-selected stands where you can buy the best products. Also, for good food and drinks, Jumping Amsterdam is the place to be. Furthermore, Cafe Bolle Jan and famous Dutch artists will bring you the best entertainment until the early hours.

High-level dressage program
Jumping Amsterdam is known for its excellent competitors in the FEI Dressage World Cup™, both the Grand Prix and the Freestyle. Because of the amazing audience and ambiance, the best dressage riders are committed to come to their Amsterdam home, year after year. For the real enthusiasts there is a dressage passe-partout available.

Jumping

Fantastic shows
The London Metropolitan Police, who are the absolute favorites of the Olympia Horse Show audience, performed during Jumping Amsterdam in 2009, which is also known as the 50th edition of our event. From 2010 on we also had great performances in the RAI Amsterdam, namely: Jean-Francois Pignon, Osborne Refrigerators Double Harness Scurry, Tanzende Beine, Lorenzo ‘the Flying Frenchman’, Mario Luraschi, Luma the Lion, Santi Serra, the Horseman Team and Alizée Froment.

Trickriding team The Future Guys
Take 6 daredevils, a few specially trained western horses and a fair bit of trust, boldness and speed. That are the ingredients of the impressive show in all American style that framed the sports program of Jumping Amsterdam 2018: The Future Guys. Faster than the speed of sound they performed breathtaking stunts from old westernmovies and rodeo’s. The audience was at the edge of their seats during this spectacular intermezzo.

Novotel children’s program
On Sunday morning, the specially selected program is an absolute must for the young(est) horse lovers. With fun, crazy and interactive shows varied with exciting competitions with famous riders and artists the little Jumpers will have the time of their lives.

Show jumping in Amsterdam
The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ guarantees the participation of the best riders from 28th until 31th January 2021. On the 28th of January the national riders will get their chance to shine at the RAI Amsterdam arena. In the area around Amsterdam, qualifications will be held. A few lucky show jumpers win a ticket to compete at Jumping Amsterdam. When, on Friday and Saturday, the sports program comes to an end the evening continues in the promo village with performances of famous Dutch artists.
